The Brugnano company in Palermo is a company of primary importance in the collection, recovery and disposal of special and non-special waste, which operates throughout Sicily. The history of the company is distributed over a rather long period of time and has as its protagonist Mr. Nicola Brugnano, owner and Sole Director of the company, who, starting from the 1960s, approached the scrapping sector, working personally and acquiring a series of specific notions and skills. The profound knowledge of the subject and the brilliant entrepreneurial spirit of Mr. Nicola made a dream possible, giving life to what is now a company recognized both in Italy and abroad for the quality and reliability of the services offered. The first great satisfactions did not take long to arrive and a substantial leap in the quality of the company took place at the beginning of the nineties, when the owner's children began their fruitful collaboration within the company gradually acquired important orders at national level. This was possible thanks also to a continuous updating and adaptation with respect to the regulations in force regarding the disposal of special waste.

The protection of the environment and the safeguarding of public health are the basis of the work of the Brugnano company, which selects only the safest and most advanced technologies, able to guarantee safe disposal, even in the case of hazardous waste. Brugnano is aimed at public bodies, private companies, environmental consultancy firms and private citizens, providing them with a series of services performed quickly and professionally. The guarantee of quality and safety of the activities is supported by the ISO and OHSAS certifications, in particular ISO 9001/15 and ISO 14001/15 and OHSAS 18001/07 by the regular authorizations for the storage and transport of waste , according to the regulations established by law. As regards the collection and disposal of exhausted batteries, the Brugnano company is currently affiliated with COBAT, the consortium that ensures the best quality standards in the management of this type of waste. The authorization for the recovery of fluorescent tubes and light sources, on the other hand, comes from the ECOLIGHT consortium, which guarantees their correct disposal.
