Brings AG is a collection point for recyclable materials in the franchise model. We deliberately do not say “waste collection point”, because the materials that are delivered to us are not waste, but reusable materials.

As a franchise, you buy the brings collection point concept, which means that we provide everything from scales to computers to weighing software to labeling, and the entire structure behind it. The operators only take care of the staff. The brings AG team takes care of everything else, including lifelong support.

The weighing software is our heart. We worked on it for a long time, tinkered with and honed, and now we can present an almost perfect product for practical weighing of different materials, including process optimization and evaluation. The weighing software can also be bought without a brings collection point, and here, too, you can enjoy the lifelong support of the brings team.

1994

The waste collection point in Münchenbuchsee was operated by Schwendimann AG. It later became the first brings collection point.

2006

The first brings collection point opens its doors in Münchenbuchsee (BE). It is operated by Schwendimann AG.

2007

Opening of the brings collection point in Kirchberg (BE), operated by brings AG.

2008

Opening of the brings collection point in Laupen (BE), operated by ASL AG.

2010

Opening of the brings collection point in Hinwil (ZH), operated by Keller Recycling AG, and opening of the brings collection point in Turgi (AG), operated by Obrist Transporte, and opening of the brings collection point in Wohlen (AG), operated by Römer AG.

2012

Opening of the brings collection point in Wald (AG), operated by Keller Recycling AG, and opening of brings Zermatt (VS), operated by Schwendimann AG.

2016

Opening of the brings collection point in Herzogenbuchsee (BE), operated by Ernst Gerber AG.

2020

Schwendimann AG becomes the sole shareholder and thus the sole owner of brings AG.

Today

Today brings is an innovative and customer-friendly collection point for recyclable materials, with 9 locations and a mobile collection point all over Switzerland. In addition, our weighing software is used at 8 other locations.
