It is in Aveyron, that the visionary fiber of recycling blossomed thanks to Abel Briane, the grandfather who on his cart collected the skins of rabbits and the rags.
Then came 2 sons who had the same fiber and in turn created their respective activities in the heart of the Carmaux coal mines. Alain Briane specializes in recycling plastics, while Gérard Briane is dedicated to collecting and sorting metals.
Gérard Briane then set up in 1978 near Albi in the town of Saint-Juery, diversifying into the processing and trading of glass, favored by the establishment of the nearby Albi Glassworks.
Today Briane Environnement now provides a global response to the waste recycling needs of businesses and individuals. It is now the turn of his 2 daughters to make the family business prosper and innovate.
