History
Today - Service Group Braun
Between 1985 and 1990, Anton Braun had gradually transferred tasks and responsibilities to his son Anton L. Braun in the company. In this way he initiated a smooth transition of the company to the fourth generation.
During these years, the son had developed his own vision of the future of the BRAUN company.
After the first building block of the organizational realignment through the establishment of BRAUN Disposal GmbH and taking over the management in 1990, Anton L. Braun took further steps. The waste disposal consulting business area, which began in 1994, was made independent from the managing partner in 1998 and Braun Consulting Gmbh was founded.
Anton L. Braun was already involved in real estate brokerage and capital investments during his business studies. This activity finally led to the founding of Team Finanz Immobilien und Kapitalanlagen in 1999. These activities were also bundled in an independent company.
1990 - Foundation of the corporation
The Braun company has grown continuously over three decades into an important medium-sized company. It was only a matter of time before the business was converted into a corporation. In 1990 Anton Braun founded BRAUN Disposal GmbH with his son. The foundation stone for another generation change was laid.
The company experienced rapid development and became a powerful waste disposal partner for municipalities and for the economy, far beyond the Ingolstadt region. The disposal operation was divided into the business areas of urban cleaning, container service, recycling and hazardous waste.
1959 - New waste disposal division
1959 - New waste disposal division Shortly after taking over the management of the company, Anton Braun, senior boss of today's company BRAUN Disposal, set a milestone in 1959. Without further ado, he switched the company's business purpose from transport to waste disposal, thereby demonstrating foresight. This set the course for the future.
There were new opportunities that Anton Braun took advantage of. Starting with a single vehicle, Braun covered the entire district of Ingolstadt at the time. Anton Braun saw a better future in waste disposal in the long term than in transport.
1937 - generation change
1937 - generation change In 1937 Anton Braun, the grandfather of the current generation, succeeded the founder, Andreas Braun. He took over parts of his father's business.
Until 1959, the company acted as a pure transport company. This year there was another change in the company's management. Anton Braun's son took over the business in the third generation.
1920 - A flair for economic development
The company experienced its first groundbreaking development in 1920: The purchase of a gasoline-powered truck. The acquisition was of the greatest importance and contributed significantly to the upswing of the company. Because the radius of action for the transport of goods expanded suddenly.
1898 - courage to take the first step
1898 - courage to take the first step In 1898, the founder of the Manchinger company, Andreas Braun, started his transport company. He wanted to pursue his own professional path as an independent entrepreneur. He transported everything that was offered to him. A single horse-drawn vehicle, which was pulled by two horses, served as a means of transport at the start.
The number of orders increased and with it the size of the vehicle fleet - more horse and cart teams were added over time.
Mission Statement
Responsibility
"We only borrowed the earth from our children," says an old proverb of the environmental movement. But this is a fact, especially when it comes to responsible disposal solutions.
Burying and forgetting is unfortunately still the most common solution in many parts of the world. And it is precisely this supposed "solution" to the problem that is spilling back to Germany with globalization. The main thing is to dispose of it cheaply and get rid of it - many companies fall for that in terms of cost pressure. Where is the human responsibility here?
You can be assured: Waste is safely disposed of - including for future generations - and recyclable materials are returned to the cycle. That is what the Braun disposal company stands for.
Anchored in the region
As a traditional, typically German, owner-managed medium-sized company, we are committed to the region. Despite the increased competition from large corporations and from supposedly “cheaper” foreign countries, we keep our company competitive with new concepts.
The cooperation with our company not only secures jobs, but also customers with long-term purchasing power for the economy in our region - because our economy can only function well where there is work.
Our contribution to the environment
The vehicle fleet of Braun Disposal GmbH is regularly brought up to date in sections.
With our own workshop, we can react quickly and flexibly. And so our vehicles are always in a technically perfect condition.
Company with tradition
While the waste disposal industry is basically a very young branch of our economy, we at BRAUN Disposal GmbH can proudly look back on almost 120 years of company history.
The name BRAUN was already known as a transport company in and around Manching in 1898. In retrospect, it can be said that despite the constant change in the framework conditions, two world wars and other crises, fundamental values have made the BRAUN company successful, which still apply today.
Reliable, powerful, inexpensive, safe and innovative.
Values that we are guaranteed to keep.
