Since 1992, Brantner has been a partner for Slovak municipalities, citizens and entrepreneurs in waste management and the municipal services sector.

We founded the first subsidiary in Slovakia in Spišská Nová Ves. Today, with our fifteen companies, we employ more than 800 workers and have around 250 vehicles in use.

By constantly responding to new needs and challenges, we have become one of the largest and most progressive companies in the entire waste management in Slovakia. We provide complex waste management services for more than 550,000 residents and 2,000 corporate customers.

In the field of material recovery of waste, we operate 6 sorting plants in Slovakia, in which more than 30,000 tons of secondary raw materials are processed annually for further recovery.

Our landfills are permanently monitored and comply with strict environmental protection standards. These are modern devices with protective bottom insulation and a complex infrastructure that deal with gases and substances escaping from decomposing waste as well as the drainage of seepage water.

The second supporting activity is technical services, including summer and winter maintenance of roads, care of public greenery, maintenance and modernization of public lighting, etc. Since the beginning of our operation in Slovakia, we have been among the largest providers of these services.

We are aware of our binding position in the protection of the environment, which is why we are constantly looking for new ways to improve existing systems and thereby minimize any impact of our activities on the environment. As part of our commitment to the environment, we actively participate in the development and implementation of many solutions for recycling, recovery of waste and their alternative use.
