The company is wholly owned by the Brantford Energy Corporation.

Brantford Power is governed by a Board of Directors that has ultimate accountability for the overall direction and results of the Corporation. The board oversees the conduct of the business and the performance of management who are responsible for the day-to-day operations of the business.

• We operate one transformer station – jointly owned by Brantford Power and Brant County Power. We also receive power from two Hydro One transformer stations.

Brantford Power, delivering safe and reliable power is important to us. Sometimes, however, unscheduled power outages happen due to extreme weather or unforseen equipment failure. In response to calls regarding power outages and to provide information about planned and unplanned outages, Brantford Power provides customer service personnel, including an after-hours emergency contact centre.

To lessen unnecessary service calls, please check to ensure the power interruption is not a result of a tripped breaker or blown fuse in your electrical panel. Also, check with your neighbours to see if their power is out.
