The origins of Branch Highways date to 1955 when Billy H. Branch and C.W. McAlister teamed to pursue road and site construction. In 1963, a single entity, Branch and Associates, emerged.
The company was reorganized as The Branch Group, Inc. in 1986 with Branch Highways, Inc. providing heavy/highway construction. Employee-ownership was initiated.
Since then, we’ve become an industry leader and we have the portfolio to show for it.
We’re a full-service heavy highway, civil and environmental contractor and design-builder headquartered in Roanoke, Virginia. We’ve completed projects all around the Mid-Atlantic and Southern regions. Branch Highways is 100% employee-owned, which provides benefits directly to our employees and our clients.
