The municipality of Bled founded the company Infrastruktura Bled doo in 2000 for the management of tourist infrastructure owned by the municipality and for the implementation of communal activities. The object of business is defined by the contract with the municipality:

Agreement on the management of tourist infrastructure facilities and Agreement on the implementation of economic public service and management of communal infrastructure.

The company's operations are divided into two programs, namely the Tourist Infrastructure program and the Communal Infrastructure program. The company takes care of:

management and maintenance of facilities: Castle swimming pool, sports hall, ski slope Straža, summer toboggan run at Straža,

Drinking and fire water supply,

Waste management,

Arranging the place and cemetery and funeral activities.

The company began active operations on June 1, 2000, when it took over the management of tourist infrastructure facilities under a contract with the municipality. In 2001, it started with the implementation of the first two communal activities, i.e. communal use and cemetery activities, including funeral activities. From January 1, 2002, the company took over the remaining communal activities: water supply, sewage and waste management. As of January 1, 2003, the area of ​​sewerage was completely transferred to the concessionaire for the construction of a sewage treatment plant and management of waste water discharge and treatment.
