The Miramundo - Los Hardales Environmental Complex in Medina Sidonia is managed by Bioreciclaje de Cádiz, SA, a concessionaire for 30 years since 2008 by the Provincial Entity Consortium Bahía de Cádiz to manage "the public service of transfer, transport, treatment and disposal of waste from said municipalities and provide a social and environmental solution to its 617,567 inhabitants ”.
Biorecycling arises from a private public agreement to undertake investments co-financed with European funds at the end of the nineties in the Miramundo - Los Hardales Environmental Complex. The public part was led by the aforementioned supra-municipal entity, the private one by the union of two companies in the public services and construction sector: Valoriza SM and GS Inima.
The result of the agreement was the construction and start-up of the Miramundo Waste Treatment and Composting Plant, created with the vocation of leading them in its field in Southern Europe due to the technology used and its nominal capacity.
OUR FACILITIES
Biorecycling manages, in addition to the Treatment and Composting Plant, 6 transfer stations and a bulky material collection point. It has at its disposal a fleet of 15 tractor units for the transport of waste and operates a Controlled Deposit of its property in the Environmental Complex that allow the integral management of municipal waste.
