About Company

Our History

BioConversion Technology is a North Georgia company, founded in May of 2000 by Kathleen Renzi and Jim Elsey.

A common complaint they heard in their relationships with authority members, administrators, managers, and operators of water and wastewater systems was that there were too many companies and consultants to deal with in regard to products and services for their systems. One company would provide the chemicals, another would provide equipment, and yet another would serve as trainer or consultant. When a problem did occur at the plant it was difficult to know who to call, or even if they would remember how their particular system was configured. Typically, this would cause a delay in responding to a problem, which usually cost the client more money.

Having identified the problem, Jim and Kathleen brought together a team of seasoned industry professionals and cultivated relationships with major vendors in order to offer their clients a single resource for all of their wastewater needs. Now all of their product and service needs could be filled by one company, BioConversion Technology. If they have a problem or need then they know it can be filled by a single vendor.
