Our History

BIG Recyclers was formed in 2021 by a whole slew of local residents who were concerned about the lack of glass recycling here in the Walla Walla Valley. We believed that together, we can make a difference. Our strength is in our all volunteer crew. Please consider joining us for a shift, a month or a year!

At BIG Recyclers, we’re not just recycling glass. Our mission is to create a sustainable future by diverting recyclable glass from landfills. Based in the heart of Central and Eastern Washington, our vision is to build a community that conserves natural resources and reduces waste by turning discarded glass into valuable resources.
