1988: Creation of SARL BIG BENNES, in January, with a capital of 50,000 francs, the activity of which is the rental of skips.

1989: BIG BENNES develops a second business around irons and metals by taking over the activity of a recuperator located in Melun. Very quickly, this second activity allows the company to increase its turnover. Membership of the FEDEREC recovery union. 1990: The SARL is transformed into an SA with a capital of 250,000 francs. Activities continue to progress steadily.

1995: Obtaining the declaration receipt for the recovery of packaging waste.

1997: Obtaining of the prefectural decree N ° 97 DAE 2 IC 046 authorizing BIG BENNES to operate a ferrous and non-ferrous metal recovery center. Award of the “QUALIREC” label relating to irons and metals.

1998: Inauguration of the current site covering an area of ​​35,000 m2. Installation Classified for Environmental Protection. Obtaining the first declaration receipt for the exercise of the waste trading and brokerage activity.

1999: Obtaining of the first declaration receipt for the exercise of the waste road transport activity. Obtaining of the prefectural decree N ° 99DAI 2 IC 297 authorizing BIG BENNES to operate a sorting center for ordinary waste and a transitregrouping center for special waste.

2001: Extension work is carried out, creation of a second platform for scrap metal, creation of the workshop and laboratory for special waste.

2002: Award of the “CERTIREC” label relating to irons and metals. Commissioning of the special waste collection center. Obtaining agreement for the 8th program of the Seine Normandy Water Agency as an approved collector.

2003: Integration of the environmental management system according to the ISO 14001 standard.

2004: Obtaining ISO 14001 certification in July.

2005: Obtaining of the prefectural decree N ° 05 DAIDD IC 064 approving the operators of decontamination installations and dismantling of end-of-life vehicles under N ° PR 77 000 10 D.

2007: Creation of the E3D subsidiary for the dismantling and the treatment of Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE). Obtaining agreement for the 9th program of the Seine-Normandy Water Agency as an approved collector. Renewal of ISO 14001 certification in July. Creation of the DEPOLIA subsidiary for the depollution and treatment of gas cylinders and pressure vessels.

2008: Obtaining of the declaration receipt N ° 15943 item 27-11, allowing the operation of a waste electrical and electronic equipment dismantling activity. Renewal of our receipt for trading, brokerage and transport of non-hazardous and hazardous waste N ° 77 DAIDD- 08 / 034R.

2009: Obtaining of the prefectural decree N ° 09 DAIDD IC-108 for our 2nd Ecuelles site, DEPOLIA. 2010: Obtaining OHSAS18001 certification in July for Big Bennes.

2011: Opening of the Écuelles site: DEPOLIA. Operation of a mechanized sorting chain for construction waste at our site in Soignolles.

2013: Obtaining for DEPOLIA the ISO 14001 certification and the OHSAS 18001 certification. Obtaining of the new prefectural decree BIG BENNES N ° 13 DCSE IC 035. 2017: Commissioning of the water treatment and depollution station on the Big Bennes site.

2018: Opening of the P4 (Asbestos platform - Gas pollution control - Alvéoles Tournures).

2018: Obtaining ISO 14001: 2015 / OHSAS 18001: 2007 / ISO 9001: 2015 certifications

2019: Renewal of the 3 certifications in July 2019. Commissioning of 2 new press-shears; mobile on caterpillars. 1000 T for Big Bennes; and 600 T for Depolia.
