Best Recycling was founded in 1994 by it’s current owner and President Ken Bell. Mr. Bell has over 25 years of experience in the waste management field. He received his degree at Colorado State University and shortly thereafter joined the EPA for two years. After leaving the EPA he was employed with a hazardous waste disposal company, an analytical laboratory company and served as Vice President for a hazardous waste incineration firm. In 1989 Mr. Bell joined the solid waste industry as the siting and development director for Recomp Inc. a solid waste disposal and composting firm based in Denver, CO. After successfully acquiring and permitting a solid waste disposal and composting operation in Bellingham, WA., Mr. Bell moved to Washington state to be the liaison between local governments, the corporation and regulators. Mr. Bell left Recomp in 1994 and immediately purchased a number of recycling facilities in three states and British Columbia, Canada. Today he serves as Best Recycling’s President and continues to develop projects for his clients
