Founded recently Bellingham Junk Removal Service is set up to serve the Whatcom and Skagit County communities. In contrast to large national providers, Bellingham Junk Removal Service puts an emphasis on reducing what goes into our landfills.
With our friendly five-star service we quickly and neatly remove everything our customers want gone. In some cases we go directly to the nearest dump or transfer station, but often we go back to our yard, where we break down the load and choose the best course for the different items.
Where we can, we recycle. Concrete, wood and most metals, including appliances are taken to specialty recyclers like Lautenbach, NW Recycling or Z-Recyclers. Even yard waste gets recycled: branches and brush are ground up at Skagit Soils.
Household items like furniture and clothes are evaluated to see if they might have further utility. Resale and donation are used where appropriate. Goodwill, Salvation Army and Habitat for Humanity’s ReStore are all recipients of items that have potential for extended use.
For the stuff that just has to go to the dump, we often consolidate loads to cut down on fuel consumption and reduce our overall carbon footprint.
