Barsele Minerals Corp. (TSX.V: BME) is a Canadian junior mineral exploration company whose sole asset is the advanced-stage Barsele Gold Project, a joint venture with Agnico Eagle Mines.

Ownership in the Barsele Project is 55% Agnico Eagle and 45% Barsele. Agnico Eagle is the operator and can earn an additional 15% in the Barsele Project through the completion of a pre-feasibility study. There is no cash outlay requirement by Barsele until a pre-feasibility study is completed.

The project is situated in the mining region of Västerbottens Län, Northern Sweden, 600 km north of Stockholm. The property covers over 47,000 hectares in the Fennoscandian Shield along the western extent of the "Skellefte Gold/Massive Sulphide Trend" which intersects with the "Gold Line" of Sweden, a linear belt of gold deposits. Current and past producers in the area include Boliden, Kristineberg, Bjorkdal and Svartliten.

The main gold-bearing system remains open in all directions. The structurally-linked mineralized zones occur within granodioritic-volcanic-sedimentary host rocks and vary in width from 10s of metres to 500 metres and have been traced over a strike length exceeding 8 kilometres and to a depth approaching 1 kilometre. Gold is generally associated with arsenopyrite and low base metal content, but also occurs as native metal. Agnico Eagle has drilled over 142,000 metres and has focused on verifying, defining and expanding the mineral resources with the Avan, Central, Skirasen zones and recently the Risberget zone. Since January 2019, drilling has been focused on the discovery of massive sulphide mineralization that is hosted in rocks of volcanic and sedimentary composition along with post mineral instrusive dykes and sills. The historic Norra VMS deposit within the claims is an example of this style of mineralization.

Barsele Minerals' management team is part of the Belcarra Group, an organization comprised of industry professionals in the mining industry, and the same team recognized for the discovery of Orko Silver's La Preciosa Silver-Gold Deposit in Durango, Mexico, which was subsequently sold to Coeur Mining Inc.
