Mission

We live in a city that we wish was more beautiful, airier, cleaner, greener, more pleasant, more civilized and the list can go on. We want changes for the better to enjoy whenever we come into contact with the outside world. We often propose to get involved in various social, charitable or environmental activities. Every time we are happy when we manage to help even a little or when we find out that all kinds of small or big changes for the better have taken place around us.

From the desire to be part of the engine of change, we set out to meet a need that does not always have the easiest or best solution. When we want to redecorate or just free up a space, we ask ourselves the question "How do I get rid of the old furniture?" or "What to do with unwanted furniture?" or "Who disposes of furniture in Bucharest". One of the answers, and, we believe, among the best, is ColectareAZ. We collect home and office furniture, appliances, electronics and all sorts of other things. We carry out furniture removal operations, old or new, good or bad, light or heavy, both from homes and office buildings. You get rid of the problem and we are glad that we could help you. We can come for one or two pieces or for large volumes. What do we do with all this?

We seek to reduce waste as much as possible and objects that can be fully or partially reused find a new life with our help. We assess the condition of the furniture and determine the stages and processes it goes through to be reintroduced into the circuit or transformed. We do our job as best as we can and in the end we score Victory in Palmares.

Through this simple and precise procedure we bring together our contribution to a cleaner environment, in a responsible and constructive way.

We promote the concepts of Upcycle and Recycle and we want a city as green as possible, as less polluted as possible and an environment as clean as possible. We contribute as best we can every day and we intend to become the main filter of our community, a filter that recovers and reuses in an overwhelming proportion the things that have become useless or simply unwanted.

At this moment over 80% of the objects we collect end up living a new life. We turn the furniture that can no longer be recovered into boards, wooden panels, shelves, slats or firewood. Simple shelves or bookcases for technical spaces, wall coverings, ceilings, even an entire warehouse were made from the recovered material.

Each piece of furniture is a larger or smaller piece of a tree, it is a particle of a forest. Annually, together we can save thousands of trees from cutting down, entire hectares of uncut forest. A single hectare of forest annually retains between 30 and 50 tons of dust and ash, removes between 20 and 40 tons of oxygen and absorbs between 15 and 30 tons of carbon dioxide. In addition, the forest releases water, volatile vitamins, essential oils, resins, balsams and aromatics into the atmosphere and is home to thousands of life forms.

At the same time, pieces of furniture that go to landfill or end up in the environment pollute the atmosphere and soil through decomposition and can even affect the water table. The furniture is treated with antifungal toxic substances, fire retardants, varnishes and paints. Chipboard, ubiquitous in our lives, is made with the help of adhesives and plastics.
