Solar Silicon Resources Group Pte Ltd (SSRG) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Auzminerals Resource Group Ltd (AMRG), a mineral resource exploration and mining development company (unlisted, public entity registered in Singapore). SSRG owns several large deposits high purity rock quartz and silica sand used in a variety of electronics and other high-tech applications, as well as high end glass and quartzware applications. AMRG also holds exclusive rights to other extensive mineral resource holdings in the Savannah region of Far North Queensland (FNQ), Australia, inland from the coastal City of Cairns. The main commercial enterprise of the Company is focused upon mining Lighthouse quartz sufficient to supply the Port Melbourne factory processing operations as well as the Beneficiation plants proposed for SE Asia, and a factory to be located near Mount Surprise in FNQ. These factories will produce high purity silica quartz sand that is used in the solar and semiconductor industries.
