Friedrich Gebauer founded the company Auto-Handel und Verwertung Gebauer on Menglinghauser Strasse in Dortmund Barop.
1959
First move and business expansion to the “Zechenplatz Luise” site in Dortmund Barop.
1969
The current company premises on Kieferstraße are occupied and the Autoverwertung
1985
With Detlef Gebauer, the 2nd generation takes over the company for the company's 30th anniversary and becomes the sole owner.
1998
Detlef Gebauer is one of the first car recycling companies in Dortmund to have the company certified according to the latest environmental standards and at the same time invests in modernization and environmental protection.
2005
The Gebauer company celebrates its 50th anniversary.
2009
A new drainage system is put into operation. This ensures a greater number of ELVs. This drainage system is the first of its kind in Germany.
