Augusta Industrial Services, Inc. is an industrial cleaning service company providing pipe, tank, drain, boiler and waste services for commercial and industrial customers in the southeastern United States. Our number one goal is to provide outstanding customer service in the safest manner possible. We strive to be the best in our business and have the utmost respect for the needs of both our customers and employees.Our company began as a start-up sewer and drain cleaning service. In 1977, our president, Clyde T. Pilcher opened Budget Sewer Service, Inc. Mr. Pilcher had several years of experience in the drain cleaning field when he decided he could bring improvements to the industry by going out on his own. By 1986, Mr. Pilcher had found so much success in his own endeavors with Budget Sewer, he started a new business: Augusta Industrial Services, Inc., to service the many industrial plants in our local area. Since then, we have grown by leaps and bounds under the direction of our Vice-President, Gordon Hardy. Mr. Hardy has always been committed to providing a safe workplace while providing the highest quality industrial cleaning services in the southeastern United States. In the future, with the help and support of Mr. Pilcher and Mr. Hardy, we will continue to grow and be a leader in the industrial cleaning industry.The management and employees of Augusta Industrial Services, Inc. realize that safety must be our primary concern. Furthermore, we are committed to providing a safe and healthy work place for employees to earn a living and for our customers to access our services. With these goals in mind, we have developed a pro-active safety and health program. Augusta Industrial Services has a full-time safety manager as well as three Authorized OSHA Outreach Trainers. All employees of Augusta Industiral Services complete a thorough safety training program with annual updates to ensure retention of training and to cover any changes in government regulations.
