ATD (Allstate Tool and Die) Precision was founded in 1968 as a privately-owned precision machining and manufacturing company based in Rochester, NY. Our founder, Paul Held Sr., immigrated to the United States from Hungary in 1956 during the Hungarian Revolution. Along with his toolmaking skills, Paul brought a strong work ethic and a relentless desire to succeed. He realized early on the potential of CNC technology and was one of the first in the area to invest heavily in the new CNC machinery.

More than 50 years of hard work and technological innovation later, ATD Precision is owned by a new generation of the same family, and is housed in a modern, 45,000 square foot manufacturing facility. Our company now employs more than 70 highly skilled machinists, engineers, and technicians. Our commitment to new technology remains the same, as we aggressively maintain the most up-to-date, state-of-the-art CNC equipment available. ATD Precision operates a sophisticated ERP system and manages a quality system that is ISO 9001 and AS9100 certified. Our company is an ITAR registered supplier.

Today, ATD Precision specializes in the custom manufacture of complex and ultraprecise, machined components and assemblies. We welcome technical challenges and have the reputation to successfully produce difficult parts that our competitors fear even to attempt.
