Fischer, an American physician and author, said that “A machine has value only as it produces more than it consumes – so check your value to the community.” Amandi is able to implement its social responsibility philosophy through the "STL Foundation".The “STL Foundation” has undertaken a number of social betterment projects including assistance to individuals for medical treatment, refurbishment of schools, funding of a mobile clinic, sponsorships and donations of computer equipment and numerous other humanitarian gestures.

Green Perspective:Through projects like Coastal Protection along the Atorkor and Sakumono coastlines, Amandi contributes to arresting the impacts of Ghana’s eroding coastline reducing the loss of structures, human life and economic well-being.The first phase of the Coastal Protection project was the construction of a revetment, or retaining wall, along 2.7 km of the Atorkor coastline along with 2 km of new road that connected the local population to the main road.Phase Two of this project entailed the construction of six groynes, each measuring approximately 80m in length, running perpendicular to the shore and extending into the water to protect a 1 km stretch of coast. Groynes function by trapping sand from the alongshore transport system to widen and protect a beach or by retaining artificially placed sand.Amandi has been instrumental in combating the destructive forces of nature and restoring the natural environment to the benefit of all. Communities along this stretch of coastline have benefitted from greater protection from natural disasters like typhoons and tidal waves, restoration of economic activities such as fishing and the preservation of their natural resources and beaches through the use of natural materials in construction of these coastal protection features.
