History

At the dawn of the 60s the Fuentes family began its journey in excavations and earthworks, in its first stage it was called MAFER SC. This cooperative is formed by Manuel Fuentes Chamorro and his son Fernando Fuentes Serrano. In 1988 Francisco Serrano Fernández joined and the new company, Fuentes e Hijos SL, was created. Finally, in 2000, a new company called Arecosur was created, signing its commitment to the environment and sustainable development. This company is dedicated to the valorization of RCD, industrial wood, pruning and glass.

Due to the importance of achieving sustainable and environmental development, the Fuentes e Hijos Group created the company ARECOSUR, SL, in 2000. Dedicated to recycling RCD (Construction and Demolition Waste), in order to take advantage of these, and the valuation of said materials.
