APM Abfallwirtschaft Potsdam-Mittelmark GmbH, or APM GmbH for short, was founded on 01.01.1992 as an in-house waste management company for the old district of Belzig.

According to the district council resolution of December 4th, 1997, the company was converted into a 100% owned company of the Potsdam-Mittelmark district on January 1st, 1999. This proprietary company was registered on August 23, 1999 as APM Abfallwirtschaft Potsdam-Mittelmark GmbH (APM GmbH) at the Potsdam District Court under HRB 12884.

Residual waste / household waste and commercial waste similar to household waste,

Bulky waste and electrical and electronic equipment,

Waste paper and cardboard,

Bio and green waste as well as from

Abandoned waste.

In addition, APM GmbH processes and looks after the accounts of waste fee customers on behalf of the Potsdam-Mittelmark district and manages the entire pool of waste bins. The tasks of APM GmbH also include the implementation of the change service for the citizens of the district as well as for businesses that are connected to public waste disposal.

APM GmbH operates the recycling centers in Niemegk, Werder and Teltow on behalf of the Potsdam-Mittelmark district.

It also takes on the waste-related public relations work on behalf of the public waste disposal company.
