AP Alternatives was founded in 2008 with the mission to design, engineer, and manufacture an innovative new solar racking system. With over 25 years of experience in the automated manufacturing industry we started by designing a system that could utilize automated equipment to manufacture our components as well as assemble them. We didn’t want to offer just another racking system; we wanted to reinvent the entire concept of solar installations. Our designs led us to a fully pre-panelized modular racking system that would allow for factory quality control and rapid field installation.

After years of concepts, designing, prototyping, and pilot projects, we took our products to market in 2010. With project after project showcasing the major benefits of having a preassembled modular racking system and its ease of installation opportunities for larger projects presented themselves. Now today AP Alternatives has over 100 megawatts installed across the United States and we are 100% confident that our systems are the leading edge of solar racking.

The MOD 60 system is a true modular racking system for 60 cell crystalline solar modules. Each preassembled cartridge holds four 60 cell modules. The system is designed for fixed tilt commercial and utility scale projects.

The Ready Rack system is designed for residential to large commercial projects. The stick built system is very forgiving to install and is an extremely cost effective racking solution. 

The MOD 72 system is a true modular racking system for 72 cell crystalline solar modules. Each preassembled cartridge holds three 72 cell modules. The system is designed for fixed tilt commercial and utility scale projects.

The MOD FS system is a true modular racking system for thin film solar modules. Each preassembled cartridge holds 10 thin film solar modules. The system is designed for fixed tilt commercial and utility scale projects.
