Angri Eco Servizi - Special company of the Municipality of Angri

Special Angri Eco Servizi was established with an act dated 13/12/2001 following the approval of the City Council resolution no. 79/2001 pursuant to art. 13 c. 1 letter C) of Legislative Decree 18/08/2000 n. 267.

It is wholly owned by the Municipality of Angri. Purpose of the activity in the main street is the collection and transportation of municipal solid waste and similar special waste , of durable goods , of bulky waste , the road sweeping cleaning of the market areas , the maintenance of public parks .

The reference area is about 14 square kilometers with a concentration of urban buildings close to the main communication arteries that branch off to the north / west along the Tyrrhenian state road 18 and to the south / east along the provincial pedemontana road which also collects traffic. coming from the A3 motorway towards the municipalities of the Amalfi coast and the hinterland of Agro Nocerino.

The area served is characterized in the urban part of the center by a complex road network of small dimensions, which makes collection and sweeping activities difficult, also due to the intense car traffic that is concentrated for the most part along the main communication arteries. The sub-urban territory downstream and upstream of the road axes is alternatively characterized by scattered houses having mostly rural characteristics.

The industrial fabric is made up of canning companies that have historically characterized the local entrepreneurial activity and of artisanal companies mainly engaged in the engineering sector and in the agri-food sector.
