Andrews is a family run business that has been working in the construction industry since 1970. Tommy Andrews started the company operating Dodge 4-wheel tippers, then later moving onto running Scammells. The company was originally based in South London, but later moved to Stepney, East London. From then at the age of 15 Danny started working with his father following the family business.

Danny went on to build his own fleet, at the age of 23 Danny was operating 17 Scammells of his own working alongside Tommy. In 1991 Tommy decided to retire and Danny carried on operating the tippers on his own. Danny operated muck away service & covered the whole of the City & Docklands.

In 1991 the recession came and Danny got a 2 1/2 year contract with Balfour Beatty on the M20 motorway, this carried him through the recession. Becoming one of the largest tipper operators in the South-East Danny at that point operated 50 MAN tippers and provided majority of works within London.

In later years Dannys sons got involved in the family trade, Billy & Danny Junior. Following their father's footsteps, they would be in the yard from the age of 15 not knowing anything but lorries. In 2015 the family business purchased their 3.5-acre site in Rainham, Essex. Andrews currently operates from this site & is situated close to London being located just off the A13.

Over the past 2 years Andrews has expanded and started venturing into the waste industry, now operating a fleet of walking floor bulk Artics, Roll On/Off & Skip vehicles working alongside the existing fleet of tippers. In 2018 our new waste transfer recycling facility will be operational.
