Transport - We keep our road and rail networks running, we are responsible for managing and maintaining rail, road and motorway networks across the UK.

Roads: Working across the strategic and local road network, we deliver planned and cyclical highways maintenance and management serivces to keep towns and cities moving.

Rail: We work with rail providers and train operating companies to keep their existing assets running as smoothly as possible as well as making sure passengers can travel safely across the rail network

Defence - We look after thousands of assets on behalf of the client in secure environments including 50,000 military homes for our service personnel.

Facilities Management (FM) - under our FM team, we are responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of 60 prisons, as well as transporting prisoners between courts and police stations, and also work across 146 schools in England and Scotland to keep them cleaned, secure and maintained.

Utilities - we have a strong presence in the regulated Utilities sector for power, water and metering:-

Water: Leakage detection, repairing and upgrading water networks; helping to maintain and upgrade sewer networks; and designing, installing and maintaining water treatment works. Our clients include United Utilities, Severn Trent Water, Yorkshire Water and Scottish Water.

Power: We manage substations, install overground power cables, clear the vegetation surrounding power lines; provide emergency fault work; and make sure our energy plans are environmentally friendly and sustainable.

Metering: We fit smart meters in your homes. Our clients include, EDF, SP Energy Networks and Npower.

Waste – we process waste across sites in North Yorkshire, Milton Keynes, Cambridgeshire and the Isle of Wight. This includes everything from mechanical and biological treatment, traditional mass-burn energy from waste and material recycling technologies to in-vessel composting, advanced thermal treatment, innovative small-scale energy from waste and anaerobic digestion. We also collect waste across a number of counties, as well as manage public parks to open spaces – keeping them green and clean.
