American Steel & Stairways, Inc. was founded in 1975 by Egon and Margit Vollrath. Our first business site was a small building in east San Jose and employed three people. In 1996, we expanded to a substantial 27,000 square foot facility in Gilroy, CA. We employ a top-notch workforce. Many of whom are long-time employees.
Today, the Company continues to thrive under the ownership and management of brothers Martin Vollrath and Thomas Vollrath.
