American Iron Company is a family owned and operated miscellaneous metal fabrication, welding and installation company that's been serving St. Charles and St. Louis Counties as well as surrounding communities since 1989. Originally established by Robert and Kathy Lawrence the business has grown into it's 2nd generation with sons Clayton and Adam Lawrence, both are American Welding Society certified structural welders that specialize in structural steel, ornamental iron work and welding. We can design, custom fabricate, polish, patina finish, finish paint and install; steel, stainless steel, aluminum, copper and brass. Our state of the art equipment allows us to arc weld, mig weld, tig weld, braze, solder, plasma cut, shear cut, saw cut, punch, cope, notch, bevel, brake and grind which allows us to provide a range of beautiful products such as iron fencing, gates, handrails, balconies, custom furniture and stairs just to name a few.

Using our traditional blacksmith methods allows us to stamp, bend, hammer, hammer weld, form, fold, forge, and file all of these metals into the timeless appeal and use of metal work. We founded this company with strong work ethics, honesty and integrity in mind. Now in our 29th year our hard work, determination and experience has made us a leader in excellence!
