In business for over than three decades of experience and knowhow in environmental management, AMBIGROUP was founded in 1978. Started in the collection activity and sale of scrap, a few years later, the expertise in this area would result in extending the business to new activities in the field of dismantling, demolition and management of other non-metallic waste. This diversification resulted in the creation of several companies in order to distinguish each business area.

 

The holding, Ambigroup SGPS SA, was created in January 2004 in order to consolidate the various Group activities.

 

The vision guidelines and the growth strategy of Ambigroup has undergone a major evolution in the environmental context in the past decade and a half, somehow anticipating the future Portuguese environmental legislation and gaining the recognition of the importance of sustainability in the business.
