How it all started
Our company was founded in 1939, initially as a fruit and vegetable trade, by Franz Schönberger and is still family-owned today. Only later, with the construction of a ballast mill, was our company expanded to include a new business area that is still extremely important to us today. In the course of the associated specialization in the field of ballast and transport, the construction of a concrete plant followed shortly afterwards, but this has since been outsourced.
Since 1995 we have devoted ourselves extensively to the topic of recycling building rubble, concrete and asphalt demolition and have thus embarked on a path in a new, innovative and future-oriented direction with our family business.
In the third generation, Ing.Markus Pototschnig and Ing.Alois Schönberger are currently running Alois Schönberger Recycling GmbH, the "green" company in the green heart of Styria.
