About Company

Alloy Exchange, Inc. is proud to be your full-service post-industrial recycling center as well as your cost-save resource for top quality reprocessed ABS & PC/ABS plastic. Over the last 25 years our products and services have developed with two things in mind; environmental friendliness and increasing your bottom line. Alloy Exchange was created in 1980 as a processing and trading company to handle chrome-plated material generated by local automotive companies.  Over the years we have developed an extremely efficient environmentally-friendly mechanical plating removal process.  With 100% of our feedstock coming from plating-grade scrap, Alloy Exchange’s finished products maintain very consistent material properties lot after lot, year after year.  As a result, more than 90% of our reprocessed ABS & PC/ABS resins are currently used in strictly-regulated automotive cost-save applications. As your ‘One-Stop’ recycling provider, Alloy Exchange will transport your scrap to our 56,000 square foot reprocessing facilities located in Rockford, MI or Tiptonville, TN.  Once there, well-trained and experienced employees will verify the material’s integrity before sending the paper or corrugated scrap to be baled and the plastic scrap on to be size-reduced and compounded.  By using the closed-loop recycling process, Alloy Exchange can deliver your toll-processed regrind and/or pellets back to you at a considerable cost-savings over virgin resins.

Alloy Exchange, Inc. offers toll grinding at competitive pricing.  We are able to size-reduce large parts.  All processing is done indoors on dedicated equipment.  Our comprehensive cleanout process ensures material quality.  Eliminate the noise, mess and contamination issues by allowing Alloy Exchange to toll size-reduce your scrap with clearly labeled return packaging.  Testing is available by our independent ACIL accredited laboratory. Using pellets allows for better processing control.  Let Alloy eliminate the trouble of running regrind in at a “percentage” by allowing us to compound and re-pelletize your plastic regrind.  To ensure quality of finished compound, testing is available. Alloy Exchange, Inc. will package material to your specifications.  We will use customer-provided boxes or quality used gaylord boxes.  New lids and liners are furnished.  Labeling may be standard or we can custom barcode upon request. Alloy Exchange specializes in gray or black ABS (Acrylonitrile/Butadiene/Styrene) and PC/ABS (ABS with Polycarbonate) plastics, of which 100% comes from post-industrial plating-grade feedstock giving you a very consistent product lot after lot, year after year. Alloy Exchange firmly believes that our molding customers do not need to sacrifice quality when switching from a virgin resin to our reprocessed pellets.
