Allied Steel Construction, Inc. was established in Anchorage, Alaska by Delbert Cederberg in 1974. Delbert’s son, Arthur, began working for his dad as a teen in 1984. Both remain active in the business today, with Delbert as CEO while Arthur is President and runs all day to day operations.
Aside from fabricating a large number of sculptures around Anchorage, and the state, Allied Steel has also built the majority of the animal cages for the Alaska Zoo. This includes the polar bear exhibit, snow leopard exhibit, Siberian tiger cages and the brown bear cages. We have also fabricated anti-terrorist entrance gates to the Elmendorf Air Force Base.
