Allegheny Mineral Corp. provides crushed stone, industrial rock dust and agricultural lime to Pennsylvania, Ohio and West Virginia. In 2017, the company was listed as one of the 50 largest aggregates producers in the nation (U.S. Geological Survey, March 2017).

As of January 2017, Allegheny Mineral employs over 200 people and operates 7 crushed stone plants in western Pennsylvania

Allegheny Mineral has been recognized for its efforts in the areas of safety, sustainability, community relations and industry contributions in the form of awards from federal agencies and trade associations such as the National Stone Sand and Gravel Association, the Joseph A. Holmes Safety Association and the Mine Safety & Health Administration (MSHA). Individual quarry locations have also been recognized for these efforts by state-specific trade organizations such as the Pennsylvania Aggregates and Concrete Association. Additionally, in 2011 Allegheny Mineral was selected as a finalist for Sustainable Manufacturer of the Year and Manufacturer of the Year, in Western Pennsylvania.

Allegheny Mineral is a wholly owned subsidiary of Snyder Associated Companies, Inc., and remains family owned and operated. The company continues to expand its presence in Pennsylvania and surrounding states under the leadership of President Dennis C. Snyder.
