AEG is a growing environmental consulting and remediation firm providing environmental consulting services and a projects group with proven capacity for turnkey remediation projects execution. AEG deploys both its own proprietary technologies and other proven techniques for treatment of contaminated soils and groundwater in and around large industrial and mining sites in North America. AEG has a key group of respected professionals, and is currently operating its business out of five offices in Canada and the US. AEG is a wholly owned subsidiary of Alexco Resource Corp (TSX:AXR, NYSE MKT:AXU), a publicly traded brownfields silver mining company.

AEG provides a broad range of professional environmental consulting services focused on environmental and socioeconomic assessments, regulatory and authorization processes, as well as site specific environmental studies, and permitting and compliance activities generally related to the mining industry. Separately, the Company executes project-related environmental remediation services including design, installation and operation of water and/or soils treatment systems at both brownfields and mine sites, generally in association with deployment of proprietary in-situ water related treatment technologies. In specific cases the Company will financially backstop performance based objectives to both mitigate client risk, as well as enhance project value.
