Historical background
The origins of the Alder company go back to 1946, when Paul Alder and Berthy Alder-Haag laid the cornerstone of today's company. The sole proprietorship, which was once started as a bicycle workshop, soon mutated into a car repair workshop. A few years later, the first 2-axle trucks were bought in, creating a new branch of business. In addition to the repair work, transport services were also offered. The optimal use of the synergy between transport and workshop paid off and the company expanded steadily. In 1986 the two divisions were separated from each other in order to drive the growth of the company further. This resulted in the Alder AG company. Excavation and transport were the top priorities when it was founded in 1988, but it didn't stop there. With the construction of the new workshop and the associated move from the former location on Hauptstrasse, the larger area in Steinacker opened up new opportunities. Today, the range of services extends from demolition, earthworks and transport to pipeline construction and recycling.
Alder AG has been family-owned since the beginning and is still owned today.
