In 1949 George Hart founded Alameda Ornamental Iron as a one- man shop, working out of his garage. Walter Schill bought the business in 1974, and moved its operations to our current location. In 2008, Walter’s son-in-law Gene Griffin bought the business and continues to run it. Gene is from Baton Rouge, Louisiana and has been in the welding industry for over 30 years. He has an extensive background in the welding and fabrication process.  For 65 years Alameda Ornamental Iron has been dedicated to long-term service, honesty, integrity and an uncompromising quality of product. We look forward to continuing to serve the community for many more years.
