Established in 1991, Alabama Oil & Gas Recovery Inc. is a facility involved in the removal, treatment and disposal of all types of petroleum products, contaminated water and soils. The company specializes in cleaning and gas removal of all types of petroleum storage tanks. Located in Trussville, Ala., Alabama Oil & Gas Recovery Inc offers services, which include testing of soils and liquids for contamination and oil and water separator cleaning. The company is an authorized distributor for SpillTech sorbent pads, mats and containment kits.

In 1991 AOG began handling petroleum contaminated water from UST closures and petroleum retail outlets.  This waste water had to be transported to disposal facilities in other states.  The cost was extremely high for AOG and its customers.  For this reason AOG began to plan the development of our own in state waste water treatment facility.  Working with water treatment engineers, a state licensed geologist, and a period of 4 years  AOG was happy to open our new waste water facility.  We worked closely with ADEM and the EPA to design a facility that specifically treated petroleum contaminated water.  This new facility takes petroleum contaminated water, and filters all the hydrocarbons as well as other chemicals out of the water then discharges clean water.  Instead of disposal thru storage or land fill your waste water is recycled into clean water.  This reduces waste product liability and saves our environment.
