The company was incorporated in 1955 by Ken Huish as Airflow Watford Ltd manufacturing plaster air vents and airbricks.

In 1972 the company was moved south to New Milton and Ken changed to range of product to plastic ventilators imported from Europe at the same time Ken changed the name to Airflow (Nicoll ventilators) Ltd.

Lionel Huish officially joined the company in 1981 although helped as a boy to stack plaster vents onto drying racks back in 1968!

In 1985 upon the death of Ken, Lionel took over the company and fast set on the road of producing our own product range which started with the first 5” core drill vent with a 100cm2 free area, on the market in 1989.

Lionel progressed the product range producing a range of face fit, through wall and tumble dryer vents by the Mid-nineties.

Seeing issues and dubious claims in the market, Lionel sat on British Standard and advised on the ventilation requirements for the new standards at the time.

The 2000’s saw us purchasing a range of buckets enhancing our range further along with developing a range of roof ventilators.

In 2008 Airflow brought all plastic moulding in house alongside vacuum and thermal forming giving us total control of our manufacturing.

Also at this time we expanded our contract moulding and product design and development for customers developing among other thing a market leading domestic magnetic water filter, producing over 100k with in the first year from moulding , assembly, testing and finished packaging.

2012 Ryan, Lionel’s eldest son joined the company working from the bottom up to get a knowledge of the workings to today where Ryan now works in the sales department.

2014 saw Tom another of Lionel’s son join the company aiming to move into the area of product development.

2015 Airflow continues to develop, bringing on our range of decorating products making paint trays and kettles.

After 30 years in charge Lionel is pleased to introduce a new 21st century look to the company bringing in a new Logo and emphasizing on in house products with equal energy going into new customer product development and contract moulding.

Specialist building products and contract moulding company, Airflow has been established in the south of England since 1972.

We work closely with our customers developing products to their exacting requirements we have expanded our contract moulding and product development over the last few year as well as producing our own range of building products.

The environment is important to us and the need to maintain competitive pricing, Airflow sees this as something we can use hand in hand and recycle not only 95% of our own waste plastic but also work with local companies and scout groups to gather materials and raising monies for good causes.

Our team albeit small have mostly worked for the company for a long time and thus care about the development and progress we have and continue to make.
