ARI is an interest organization and membership association for private companies that have professional waste management as their primary activity.

ARI works for stable and predictable framework conditions, strengthened market opportunities in a circular economy and a good and long-term investment climate.

ARI's purpose is more broadly to look after the members' interests, i.a. by:

- Be in dialogue with authorities, organizations and other relevant stakeholders.

- Provide concrete assistance to the members in connection with the companies' activities.

- Maintain and improve the industry's reputation and spread awareness of the industry's services.

- Communicate industry-relevant and current information from home and abroad.

- Work for harmonised, transparent and unbureaucratic market conditions based on both national legislation and EU regulation.

- Build and maintain industry-specific networks.
