AffaldPlus gives your waste new life!

AffaldPlus is a public waste company owned by Faxe, Næstved, Ringsted, Slagelse, Sorø and Vordingborg municipalities. We are set up to solve tasks for the owner municipalities in the waste and energy area.

AffaldPlus is a joint municipal waste company owned by Faxe, Næstved, Ringsted, Slagelse, Sorø and Vordingborg municipalities. We geographically cover the six owner municipalities in South and West Zealand - an area with 309,000 citizens and 30,0000 companies.

We are set in the world to solve tasks for our owner municipalities in the area of ​​waste and energy. Our main task is to receive the waste that is produced in our catchment area and ensure the best waste treatment: That is. recycling before recycling, before energy utilization, before landfill, before special treatment.

In addition, we solve a number of other special tasks for the municipalities: For example, we handle the operation of the waste scheme in Sorø and Ringsted Municipalities, the operation of the bulky waste and garden waste schemes in Slagelse and Ringsted Municipalities, etc. We also own Sorø Fjernvarme, which supplies district heating to approx. 1600 customers in Sorø.

We are a §60 company, which means that we have been handed over a part of the municipalities' competences, and we must therefore look after the interests of the municipalities and the citizens at all times.

AffaldPlus saw the light of day in 2010, after the two former waste companies KAVO and FASAN merged.

We are approx. 225 employees distributed across our various departments and facilities.

At AffaldPlus, we work strategically and purposefully with the triple bottom line and the UN's global goals. This means that, in addition to good waste management, we try to make a difference in our local areas to the benefit of both people, animals and the environment.
