AEX Gold is focussed on building a full-cycle gold company in South Greenland’s gold district. AEX was founded in 2017 as an exploration company with a focus on locating high-grade gold deposits in Greenland. The Corporation currently owns five licences in South Greenland covering an area of 828 km², meaning it has established an unrivalled footprint and the largest gold licence portfolio in Greenland.

Our primary asset is the past-producing Nalunaq gold mine, which AEX plans to redevelop in the near-term. The Nalunaq project benefits from an extensive range of surface and underground infrastructures developed by past operators, which is key will become AEX’s regional hub for the exploration and development of its other properties which exhibit early indicators of high-grade gold mineralisation.

AEX has established a Board and Management team with significant and relevant experience, both in the development and operation of mines in the Arctic region and in Greenland. Greenland is regarded as a safe and stable jurisdiction due to the favourable mining laws and competitive fiscal environment, as well as a stable Government.
