ArcOne® is a manufacturer of industrial safety products and personal protection equipment, including auto-darkening welding helmets, safety glasses, hard hats and respiratory protection products.
ArcOne® is well known for being innovative with both technology as well as the marketing of all its products and has been a major force in the evolution of the Auto-Darkening welding helmet business since the early 90’s. Most of our products are designed and engineered at our Taunton, MA facility.
ArcOne® was founded in 1992 as a start-up when the Auto-Darkening filter had a low market penetration in its infancy in the North American market. ArcOne® established an exclusive contract as an OEM for a Swiss manufacturer of this product, and its focus was to market and sell Auto-Darkening products throughout North America.
During the 1990’s ArcOne® achieved the highest level of growth in the Auto-Darkening market through innovative marketing concepts, exceptional customer service, and technically advanced products. By 1997 ArcOne® became number one in North America.
