Located on eclectic Main Street in Santa Monica, California, Accents is a creative haven for jewelry artists, and a community hub for those seeking unique pieces and a direct connection to local designers.

Owner and designer Steven Hanna opened Accents in December 1987 to showcase his hand-sculpted creations. Wanting to create a community of like-minded artists, Steven started teaching the ancient art of Lost Wax carving, mentoring a handful of designers that he then carried in his store.

Since then, Steven's dream has developed into a full-fledged apprenticeship program, where every employee at the store is a designer. Working in silver, gold and gold vermeil, Accents’ designers are creating new jewelry everyday. Our customers love that they get to meet the designers and collect work from brand new collections, and our designers love meeting and getting feedback from the customers
