Acadiana Waste Services, LLC (AWS) is a locally owned and operated full-service solid waste management company providing residential, commercial, and roll-off solid waste collection services. Additionally, AWS provides portable toilets and disaster services, including toilets, handwash stations, and shower trailers.

AWS was originally created to provide the Acadiana area an alternative option to the “Big 3” national companies and from its inception has focused on providing quality service at competitive prices. AWS was founded in 2012, with its first commercial container set out at a small, local business in Lafayette, LA. Since 2012, AWS has grown to servicing over 2,500 commercial containers, over 600 roll-off containers, and over 15,600 residential homes. Our service area includes seven parishes in the Acadiana region, the Alexandria area, and in 2018 we began servicing the Beaumont, TX area.

The AWS ownership team has over 100 years of waste industry experience combined, with 90 of those coming from our management team that is involved in the day-to-day aspects of operations. They have been involved in the implementation and oversight of various residential contract startups and conversions, including the Lafayette City-Parish Consolidated Government contract in Lafayette, LA.
