ABC Waste has been tackling one of Savannah’s “Dirty Jobs” for over 55 years in commercial and residential trash pickup.
As a locally owned independent business, ABC is small enough to provide the absolute best in customer support, yet large enough to handle huge amounts of commercial waste and roll-off service.
ABC provides full recycling services to commercial businesses and large residential complexes, as well as neighborhood curbside recycling.
The heritage of ABC Waste goes back to 1956, the year Elvis came to Savannah, and when WSAV built their NBC station on Victory Drive near the Triple XXX Thirst Station Drive In for hamburgers and shakes.
The Hodges family, a husband and wife team, established the waste company, originally named Superior Sanitation.
Carolyn Hodges-Stewart now runs the company under the name ABC Waste of Savannah, and continues to operate as a family business with the same superior customer service values.
Carolyn was featured in the Savannah morning news as Savannah’s only woman waste hauler
