AAA Precision Tool & Cutter Grinding, LLC operates out of a brand new, 10,000 square foot facility in Orofino, Idaho. We currently have 13 employees.

Our specialty is in designing and manufacturing the perfect tool necessary to fit the customer’s needs and servicing that tooling for continued usage. We are qualified toolmakers with over 80 years of combined experience and pride ourselves on precision, quality and customer satisfaction. We have been designing and manufacturing special tooling since 1955.

We produce a wide range of custom cutting tools, such as HSS and Solid Carbide form drills, end mills, reamers, circular form tools and cutters, carbide or diamond tipped tools, inserts, broaches, punches, boring bars and saws, etc. We are also an approved distributor of Onsrud products. Our lead time on uncoated tooling, requiring in stock raw materials, is 5-7 working days. We also provide approval drawings for every tool we manufacture and tools are 100% inspected before shipment.

The sale of AAA to Great Lakes Custom Tool Mfg, Inc. in June 2013 has benefited AAA immensely. In addition to purchasing land and constructing a new facility, we have added several new machines, added and increased loader capabilities and updated software. We have also increased the amount of raw material we keep in stock which has allowed us to reduce our lead time. Our primary goal is to provide premium tools at competitive prices with timely deliveries.
