AKG of America located in Mebane North Carolina is a part of the AKG Group with global headquarters in Hofgeismar, Germany.  Since the start of production in 1981, the company has grown consistently during  the last three decades. Today with major production centers located in Mitchell, South Dakota and Mebane, North Carolina, our North America employment  has exceeded 600 people.
