On Site Shredding

At 3N Document Destruction Inc., we offer on site shredding in which you will be able to witness the destruction of your documents. Our mobile shredding truck allows us to shred 3,000 pounds of material per hour. You won't have to worry about purchasing expensive shredders or shredded waste disposal methods. No readable paper will leave the premises. We dispose all material in an environmentally friendly manner. We strive to save your business valuable time and overhead. The steps are as follows:

1. We will show up to collect your material you have in your secure locking containers.
2. A fully bonded and insured 3N employee will arrive in uniform to remove your containers and bring them to the truck. It is weighed on a portable NYS certified scale, if billing is performed by the pound.
3. The containers are lifted into the truck, shredded and then compacted.
4. You will receive a Certificate of Destruction once the material has been destroyed. Your containers will be returned to you.
5. Our truck delivers the shredded paper to our secure warehouse where it is shipped to a paper mill, hydro-pulped and then recycled.

Off Site Shredding

3N Document Destruction Inc. offers off site shredding at our fenced-in 24-hour surveillance facility. Our large industrial shredder is able to shred up to 10,000 pounds of documents per hour, which is recommended for large volume jobs. This is a same-day process and is much cheaper and faster if you have excessive records to shred. Witness destruction is allowed. The steps are similar to our on site shredding, and are as follows:

1. We will show up to collect your material you have in your secure locking containers. You may want a scheduled pickup schedule in place, such as monthly, biweekly or even daily.
2. A fully bonded and insured 3N employee will arrive in uniform to remove your containers and replace them with empty ones. They are brought to a secure box truck and you receive a Proof of Pick-up certificate.
3. The containers are brought to our secure warehouse where they are weighed on a NYS certified scale.
4. The containers are emptied into the industrial shredder the same day. The destroyed bales are shipped to a paper mill where they are pulped then recycled into paper goods.
5. You receive a Certificate of Destruction certificate with your invoice.
