How to clean a radiator for scrap?

Scrap car radiators can be all copper or brass (usually in older cars), but usually you will find them to be a mix of copper tubes and aluminum fins.  To get the higher rates at the scrap yard, cut off the steel ends of the radiator, leaving only clean copper and aluminum.  Radiator ends also have a dollar value and can be sold separately at the yard.
